This response is to the Grade 4 and 5 instrumental and vocal performance.
One thing I did well in the writing was describe things.
One thing I would change was that I would make a response to the whole performance.
The Grade 4&5 concert is hosted in the centre for the arts in UNIS Hanoi. The Grade 4&5s perform their knowledge of instrumental and vocal music. The students perform after each other for an hour. I think that most of the performances that I performed in is uneventful.
The Grade 5 band is the opening for the concert. Students play an instrument from the following:
- Alto saxophone
I am playing the Alto saxophone, so is Benjamin, Dylan, Graham and Sander. I think that it is pretty uneventful since the songs we play are very simple.
Then comes the advanced band, the people playing in it are: Me, Phuong anh, Benjamin, Yuyao, Yuyang, Jonatan, Jonathan and Amaya. The instruments they play are: (In the same order) Alto saxophone, Oboe, Alto Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trumpet and last but not least Clarinet. We played Believe from the Polar Express and You’ve got a friend in me from Toy Story. I overly enjoy it since it isn’t too simple and it is exciting. P.S. Amaya is in 4th grade.
In choir we sang the following songs:
- Hold Back The River by James Bay.
- On Top Of The World by Imagine Dragons.
- Have you ever seen the rain by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
These songs we have sang immense amounts of times so it was immensely uneventful so that part of the performance is just dull.(for the performers.)
I think that most of the performances that I performed in was uneventful ‘cause it was either too easy for me or I’ve sang it thousands of times.
